• Important update for Wrens Class regarding PE/Forest Adventure Days

  Good afternoon,

   

  Unfortunately, it has become necessary to change the PE day for Wrens class from a Thursday to a Monday immediately following the half term break, however, Forest Adventure day will still remain on a Thursday. On Forest Adventure day the children should come to school in their school uniform and bring the additional suggested clothing detailed in the original letter in a named bag.

• Important Information regarding changes to bringing PE Kit for Sports After School Clubs

  Good afternoon,

   

  Due to large amounts of children wearing PE kit in school on a daily basis, we would like to make the following changes with immediate effect:

   

  KS1 (Year 1 & 2) - Children should continue to wear their PE kit to school on their PE days and also when they have a Sports After School club. 

   

  KS2 (Year 3, 4, 5 & 6) - Children should continue to wear their PE kit to school on their PE days but should come to school in school uniform and bring their PE kit/sports kit in a bag to get changed into if they are only attending a Sports After School club that day.

   

  If your Yr 3 child attends Fun Fitness on a Tuesday then they can continue to attend school in their PE kit on this day as the club is running for Yr 2 and Yr 3 children.

• IMPORTANT - PE Kit

  We have again recently seen an increase in the amount of children who not wearing the correct PE kit. Please refer to the below information regarding the PE kit which your child should be dressed in on their PE days. 

   

  We would also ask if you could please ensure everything is clearly named as our lost property is ever growing with unnamed items.

• Nursery & Reception Open Day

  Is your child or someone you know due to start Nursery or Reception in September 2024? 

   

  If so, we would like to invite you to our Open Day on Wednesday 8th November between 9.30am - 11.30am or 1.30pm - 2.30pm. 

   

  Alternatively, visits to the school can be arranged by contacting the school office.  

• Parking

  Please be respectful of our local residents when parking your cars. Unfortunately we are continuing to receive reports of cars parked across drives, dropped curbs, on corners and close to junctions, all of which is inconsiderate to others and dangerous.   

   

  Please also note that the school car park is for staff use only between 8.00am - 4.30pm (with the exclusion of disabled access). If your child attends BAFTA, please ensure that you drive into the car park at a sensible speed and only use the car park outside of the above hours.
