Admissions Criteria

If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.

Parents have the option to start their child at school from the September after their fourth birthday.

However, all children must be in school the term after their fifth birthday.

If your child is due to start in their first year at school (Reception) or any other year group (Mid-Year Admissions) and you wish to apply for a place in our school the preferred method is online via Lincolnshire County Council, although you can also apply by telephoning Lincolnshire County Council on 01522 780030 or request a paper application using the same number.

Parents who are considering applying for admission to our school are very welcome to visit the school and to meet the Principal, the staff and children. Please telephone the school on 01775 722006 to arrange a suitable time for your visit.

Policy consultation period for admissions policy for entry in the academic year 2027 to 2028: From Friday 19th December 2025 until Friday 30^th January 2026.

A summary of the addition to the oversubscription criteria:

Criteria A & B remain the same – A. Looked after Children and Previously Looked after Children; B. Brother or sister on roll.

After applying criteria A & B we have added a new Criteria C: Children of Staff:-

C. Children of staff employed by the Trust who have been employed for two or more years by 1^st September of the year of entry or who have been recruited to meet a particular skills shortage.

(Children of staff refers to situations where the staff member is the natural parent, legal guardian or a resident step-parent).

The remaining two criteria remain the same – D. School is the nearest one to home address: E. The distance from the home to school, priority will be given to the child living closest to the school.
