As Chair of Governors at Monkshouse Primary Academy, I take great pride in celebrating the achievements of our children and staff. Under the guidance of our retiring Principal, Mrs Goodsell, they have grown not only as educators but as a united force—learning from her wisdom, leadership, and unwavering commitment.
As we turn the page to a new chapter, we warmly welcome Mr Andrew Clarke as our new Principal. He brings with him a wealth of experience and insight, and together with his team, will continue to build on our school’s strengths—driving improvement, nurturing talent, and stretching performance to ensure every child thrives.
Working in close partnership with Mr Clarke, the Governing Body provides a strong and balanced leadership structure—one that both supports and challenges where needed. Together, we are committed to driving the school forward, fostering a happy, well-run environment where children and staff alike can flourish.
