Skylarks

Welcome to Skylarks Class

PE days for Term 5 are:

TUESDAYS & FRIDAYS

We are a Year 2 class taught by Mr Addison.

I have been a primary school teacher for 13 years but this is my first year teaching Key Stage One! I joined Monkshouse Academy in 2023 and really enjoy the caring community that we have built at our school.

I am a real animal lover – I’m up early every morning tending to my two horses and three parrots before school. I enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy books in my spare time, as well as painting and juggling. I have completed a round the world trip, visiting countries such as Japan, Taiwan, New Zealand and the USA. I am a music fanatic and enjoy attending music concerts, especially if it involves heavy metal!

You might also see me outside on the playground before and after school running the book fair to raise funds for books for our classrooms.
